The animal king, a large brown primate

Called a meeting to discuss the climate

It seems that man has failed to act

And so the animals must make a pact

We won’t give eggs, honey or milk

And a little worm shouted no more silk!

But of course, true abomination

The bees…no more pollination

Industrial action by the bees

Brought man quickly to his knees

And to their everlasting distinction

This led to mankind’s sad extinction

The animals organised a large debate

With man gone to decide their fate

Who will lead? We must address

And a little worm shouted you’ll never guess!
