Og the Shortsighted.

A cautionary  tale of Neolithic man.

 

Og wanted something to share his cave

A dog would do, big and brave

So Og put out a tempting tasty bite

And it disappeared each and every night

​

Next for Og was to move it inside

Where he could observe but be able to  hide

Sadly, Og’s attempt with man’s best friend

Suddenly came to a sticky end.

 

The neighbors found Og, or what was left of him, and carried him up to the henge where he was ceremoniously buried.

They all agreed that Og was a man ahead of his time, however, they also agreed that the domestication of bears was unlikely to happen ant day soon.
